The management of the day-to-day activities at SECCCO is undertaken by the leadership team, which is tasked with the development and implementation of business plans, monitoring operating and financial performance, as well as correctly prioritizing and allocating resources.
The management team oversees all our business activities to maximize customer satisfaction. They also assess investment opportunities and managing the risk profile of the company. The management team meets at least monthly to discuss a wide range of business operational points.
OMAR MOHAMOUD
Omar is the co-founder and the chief executive officer of SECCCO. He has over 30 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, renewable energy and business leadership. He holds degree in mechanical engineering from Kasel University West-Germany and number of trainings in renewable energy from Australia, Slovakia and Egypt. Under his leadership SECCCO has completed over 500 solar projects.
SAMATAR OMAR
Samatar started working with SECCCO in 2008, he previously worked as consultant for several international aid organizations including UNICEF and Qatar Charity. He holds degree in civil engineering from university of engineering and technology, UET in Pakistan.
MOHAMED YUSUF
Mohamed has over 7 years’ experience in operations and supply chain of solar equipment. He holds degree in accountant and management from East Africa University in Somalia.
HAFSA MOHAMOUD
Hafsa Mohamud has been working as a Communications Specialist for SECCCO since January 2017. She previously worked for the Puntland Independent Office for Human Rights Defender (PIOHRD) and UNHCR as Communications Officer. Hafsa has vast knowledge in humanitarian and renewable energy sector. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nairobi.
